Grant Mason is the pen name of a Southern writer whose work explores family mythology, class, silence, identity, perception, and the systems people use to communicate, belong, and protect themselves.
Raised in Kentucky's Bluegrass region and later shaped by Charleston, Mason writes with a strong sense of place, psychological precision, and close attention to what people reveal without saying it aloud.
